2. Online store terms
By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a contract and that all information you provide to us is accurate, current and complete.
You must not use our website, products or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
You must not transmit viruses, malicious code or any material that may damage, interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders or restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Products, vehicle parts and suitability
7 Works Engineering supplies and develops automotive parts, components and related services for modified vehicles, fast road cars, track day cars and motorsport applications.
We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately, including fitment, materials, specifications, compatibility and intended use. However, modified vehicles often vary significantly due to age, previous repairs, aftermarket parts, fabrication, accident damage and customer modifications.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check that a product is suitable for their vehicle, intended use and installation environment before purchase, installation or use.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, our products may be intended for modified vehicle, motorsport, competition, track day or off-road use. Some products may not be suitable or legal for use on public roads. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their vehicle remains safe, roadworthy and legal in the area where it is used.
We do not guarantee that any product will comply with road traffic laws, MOT requirements, insurance requirements, competition regulations or inspection standards unless this has been expressly confirmed in writing.
4. Installation and use
Many automotive parts are safety-critical and must be installed correctly.
Products supplied by 7 Works Engineering should be installed by a competent person using appropriate tools, methods and safety procedures. Where relevant, installation should be carried out by a qualified technician, motorsport preparer or experienced vehicle builder.
The customer is responsible for checking:
- correct fitment
- correct torque settings
- correct clearances
- safe routing of wiring, hoses and lines
- compatibility with surrounding components
- vehicle alignment and setup after installation
- ongoing inspection and maintenance
We are not responsible for damage, failure, injury, loss or additional costs caused by incorrect installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, unsuitable vehicle condition, incompatible parts or use outside the intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
5. Motorsport, track and modified vehicle use
Motorsport, track day and modified vehicle use carries inherent risk.
By purchasing products or services from 7 Works Engineering for modified, fast road, track or motorsport use, the customer accepts that these applications may place additional stress on the vehicle and its components.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is safe, properly maintained, inspected regularly and suitable for its intended use.
Any advice, recommendations, setup information, technical content or guidance provided by 7 Works Engineering is given in good faith based on the information available at the time. It should not be treated as a substitute for inspection, professional judgement or safe working practices.
6. On-site, in-person and vehicle services
Where 7 Works Engineering carries out or assists with vehicle setup, inspection, installation, adjustment, development, measurement, fabrication, data analysis or other in-person work, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe and operable condition before work begins.
The customer must inform us of any known issues, previous repairs, existing faults, unusual behaviour or modifications that may affect the work being carried out.

- chassis damage
- wiring or electrical faults
- fluid leaks
- loose or damaged components

- non-standard engine, gearbox or drivetrain components
Modified and older vehicles may have hidden faults, worn components or previous work that is not immediately visible. We will take reasonable care when working on or advising on a vehicle, but we are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing issues, undisclosed faults, poor previous workmanship, unsuitable components or general vehicle condition.
7. Testing, setup and calibration risks
Vehicle testing, setup, alignment, corner weighting, damper adjustment, brake setup, data logging and other development work can involve risk.
We will take reasonable precautions, but the customer acknowledges that testing and setup may reveal or contribute to failure of weak, worn, incorrectly installed or unsuitable components.
7 Works Engineering is not responsible for damage or failure caused by:
- pre-existing faults
- undisclosed modifications
- incorrect prior assembly
- worn or damaged components
- unsuitable parts
- structural weakness
- previous poor workmanship
- use of the vehicle beyond its safe limits
